Monte Story:

My pride and joy is a 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. I traded a 1986 Monte Carlo SS with t-tops for it and the owner paid me $400 bucks for the exhaust I put on the '86. Plus the parts needed to get the '72 running. It had a home made H.E.I. ignition system in it that fried and the timing chain was off 12 links along with a few bent valves on the right bank. After some work and some cash later the engine was back up and running.

The '72 came from the factory mohave gold with a white vinyl top, 350 4 bbl carburator and a turbo 350 transmission. The engine "a 305 out of a pontaic firebird" and transmission "most likely out of a truck" are not original. My plans are to either restore it from the ground up or make it do a high 9 second quarter mile pass with some performance upgrades.
