Monte Stories:
I originally had interest in Monte Carlo's
because of how they looked from the rear. I use to have 66/67 Nova's and always
loved the vertical tail lights. Since the Monte has a similar tail light, I
always though they were a great looking car. In high school all of my
friends were into cars. A friends mother had a 454 SS. We use to
ride around in it. She wanted to sell it to one of us. But, non of us
wanted it because it was a big block. Too much gas!!!! She wanted 800.00
bucks!!!! Ever since then I had said one day I will get a Monte Carlo. To
date I have had over 60+ hot rods and I never owned a car longer than
about 2 1/2 years. I bough my Monte in 1998 and it has been the only hot rod and
the longest I have ever owned a car. Since then the Monte has had a lot
done to it. All work has been done by myself.
