If I want to change the original interior color from dark green(looks like pea soup) to black, can the dash and other molding be stained to black?

Thanks for all the replies. Will dig into it further, but it sounds like it might be something I could do myself. If I had to take out the dash, I don't think it would be something I would know how to handle.

It is a air conditioned car.

How difficult is it to replace a blower motor on a 71 MC ? Do you have to take the dash out? I tried the search function, but no success.

I will preface this question by stating that I know absolutely nothing about mechanics. Just starting to do research on possibly getting more horsepower out of a 350 motor, going to a 383 Stroker with about 450 hp. Would like to do a 3.55 Posi rear end as well. So, my question is will I also need a different transmission than the stock 350 that is in the car? This will be a daily driver, not a racing car, but looking for more punch and horsepower to enjoy. Not a car that I plan on driving cross country.

Just bought my first Monte Carlo, but it does not have air conditioning. How difficult is it to add air conditioning to a 70 Monte? And where would I find the aftermarket parts?
