  1. I got a jet performance carb from Pep Boys. New not rebuilt. they have the patton from Quadrajet. This carb worked great out of the box. looks exactly as factory.
  2. very good price. My top is going to cost $350 alone and I shopped around
  3. got mine from opgi. looks great. have not put them on due to car still in body shop
  4. I got the mesh package tray and mounted the speakers to where you do not need the covers looks cleaner
  5. My 72 is now a four barrel 350 it runs fine on 87 octane gas with a little timming change
  6. needs bigger carb before tune up so he can tune the carb to the motor. the white smoke sounds like a head gasket is seeping at worm conditions. after it sets take out the plugs more than likely find a plug wet
  7. I did not have to convert mine from R12. Last year before the eastern meet I put 134A in it ranit in for the meet come home evacuated it . Put 401 in it. it is a direct change over from R12. It pays to have friends in industrial A/C Biz. It lasted to the end of the year till it went in the body shop
  8. I personaly would not drill out the wheel because they are stamped steel and made for the lug nuts to set in. The drum I have honed out with no problem.
  9. my plastic inners were so busted up that when I drove the car in the rain water would pull on the moter and try to drown it out. in body shop now getting new steel inners put in after the body work is done
  10. Jet Performance has a carb that is a direct replacement for the Q jet. When I changed mine over to a four barrel I used one. the one I have has up to 825 cfm. More than I will ever need. Out of the box on the car started up great. only ajusting I did was the fast idle

  12. I have two very straight bumpers and they are in need of rechrome. would you get after market or try to find a rechrome place. not any around where I live so they would have to be shipped.
  13. in some cases if you have a bad bulb it will make it flash faster.front or rear.
  14. I had mine out twice still does not work quite right. I could only find a used one but try Leo (konic Klassic) to see if they make new You are lucky it is nickels and dimes. mine is hundred and hundred and hundreds
  15. yes Sam is well grounded but check your front and rear bulbs to see if any have bad grounds or blown. that was my problem
  16. they are not hard at all. put car on jack stands put a wide board on the floor jack under the oil pan. put small amount of presure on jack. remove through bolts. raise the motor up gently watching the distributor cap. remove bolts off motor. repeet in reverse to install
  17. Sam is correct. 1 inch will work and not hit any vital parts
  18. I had the same problem. found the hose that is on the top of the tank was cracked
  19. if is down that far change gears and chain. the water pump if you have not replaced it in a few years.
  20. mine is a two barrel carb set up it only has one line to the fuel pump to tank
  21. would like to have a picture of my car for a profile picture but every picture in my pc is to large
  22. broke mine trying to tare apart. If anyone has a idea I could use it too
