  1. Shoulder seat belt retainers, they came off a 1972 Monte Carlo. Retainers with screws. (4) $30.00 shipped.
  2. Just wondering if the top of the panel is "pushed" down correctly into the top of the door.
  3. I use a silicone Squeegee to remove excess or standing water. Then a gentle towel dry. Never had any issues, no water spots and speeds up drying tome.
  4. I have one. Has a little surface rust. Other than that in good shape.
  5. Is this a stock engine? If it is 13:" is pretty low. My first check, as others have said, check vacuum lines. I take a can of carb cleaner and spray a small amount on Vacuum lines, base of carb and vacuum fittings. If that all checks out, check plug wires. Are you running a HEI distributor or the stock cap rotor and points? If you are running points you may need to check the dwell.
  6. Could you post some pics of the the car as it is now? Thank you
  7. The next time it does it. Turn the key so you can move the shifter from park to drive and back to park. Then try it. Also push on the the shifter handle to make sure it all the way up and tight.
  8. I took my big block oil pan out twice one summer a few years ago. First I replaced the oil pan gasket. Then figured out later it was the rear main leaking. So I pulled it again to install a new seal. I'm try to remember but I think I used the cherry picker to lift the front of the engine after the motor mount bolts were taken out. I do not think I removed the valve covers. I did take the distributor cap off. For safety I did put a 2x4 between the motor mount and block when the engine was lifted. The oil pan did not just "fall" out, took a little maneuvering but it did come out. I used a one pc oil pan gasket. They make a plastic "stud" that screw into the block. They hold the gasket in place while you get the oil pan back in place. Then back one plastic holder out at a time and put the bolt back in.
  9. The last pic is the headliner I installed.
  10. I installed the headliner in my son inlaws 70 Monte Carlo a few years ago. I found a couple videos on youtube. In the video the headliner being installed in a Chevelle. The process is the same. I will attach the links for the videos.
  11. I run a stock mount and a steel mount. The steel mount was a "taller" mount then what I normally use. When I replaced it with a shorter mount it straight ed out the alignment issue with the transmission. In your case if both mounts are the same this is probably not your issue.
  12. You don't have a motor mount that is broken? I had a problem with a big block, it was a new rebuild and I run a steel motor mount on the torque side. The steel mount was a little taller then the ones I normally use.The engine was not sitting square and I ended up with what you have shown in the pics. It is a long shot but maybe a motor mount that is broke and the engine is sitting lower on one side.
  13. 1971 SS Clone on the outside only. STD Bore 396 with 820 iron heads.
  14. I'm sorry I thought the question was directed to me.
