  1. I am sure this has been posted before but it is really interesting to watch. Especially when the Monte is a big part of the video.
  2. Kinda reminds me of Harry Chapin's song 30,000 pounds of bananas. It is about a tractor trailer crash in Scranton, PA.
  3. I no longer have it but the 1970 I had was built Aug 26, 1969. I still have a photo copy of the build sheet. I also have a copy of build sheet I found under the back seat on the Monte I sold. It was also built on Aug 26, 1969.
  4. Not sure if this has been posted before. The car is at 16:27 of the video.
  5. Not sure if this has ever been posted before. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5RxBWtGNMEs
  6. Looks like it is missing the chrome trim beneath the head lights too.
  7. It is right after the Bandit buys Sherriff Buford lunch.
  8. Here is one I posted in the for sale section a few days ago. It is not mine, just one I stumbled across. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1254898601377777/
  9. There is a show on the Travel Channel called "The Devil's Road: the True Story of Ed and Lorraine Warren" about 9 minutes into the show it shows a 1970 Monte. Of course it is old news clip. (Edit corrected spelling).
  10. I was watching Mysteries of the Unknown on the Travel Channel. Tonight show was talking about tires andI think they showed a 1972 Monte on the assembly line about 30 minutes into the show. I took a picture of the screen.
  11. Here is one that just sold: https://www.volocars.com/auto-sales/vehicles/16224/1972-chevrolet-monte-carlo-custom

Look at your cowl tag. It is located under the hood on the drivers side near the firewall. On the left side of the tag you will see a code with 2 numbers and a letter. It will look like 08C (08 is the month C is the third week). 11B (second week of November). This will tell you when the car was made and let you know high or low for your production. This number will align with a month and day build date on the top left of the build sheet if you have on. My last 70 Monte was an early build 08D. On the top left of the build sheet it showed 8-26.
