  1. Anybody know if '70 Chevelle door, quarters, and rear glass will fit properly into my '72 Monte?
  2. Thanks Dan. You've given me the confidence to make it happen.
  3. I'm ready to redo my seats. Not sure if I should have them done by pros or go for it myself. Any tips on buying/installing seat covers for my '72 Monte would be appreciated.
  4. Thanks guys. I'm going in this weekend.
  5. My heater core is leaking and I'm not ready to fix it so I need to bypass it. I've never done this before so anyone have advice?
  6. Did you install standards, heavy duty or variable rate Moogs? I just ordered a pair of Heavy Dutys.
  7. New twist. Last night it turned over slowly but it turned over. I drove around and came home. Tried to start about 30 minutes later and dead. This morning I went out and it turned over slowly but started. Drove around a bit and came home. Out of curiosity, I attempted to start it again and CLICK, CLICK, CLICK. DEAD. Thoughts?
  8. One more thing. The GEN light has been on since I purchased the car a few months ago. I swapped it out with a standard 55 amp alternator. I'm not sure if it is internally regulated or not. Thanks.
  9. Alternator wasn't feeding my battery and my battery kept draining. Swapped out my alternator and it's still having the same problem. Connections are good. Any ideas?
  10. How's the ride with the variable rate springs?
  11. Thanks Big Jim. Your Monte's does look nice. That's what I'm shootin' for.
  12. Thanks for your input. Do you think there's much difference between Moog and Napa brand springs?
  13. Thanks Bob. I'll scope out that post.
  14. I'm in the process of replacing rear coil springs for my '72 Monte. I'm looking for help regarding what springs to use. I've heard that many Monte owners use Moogs but is their much difference between these and Napa brand? Plus, do you recommend Standard, Heavy Duty or Variable Rate? Btw, I'm hoping to lift my sagging rear end. Good one eh? 72Monte by lewbella, on Flickr
