  1. So, you will be ready for the Western Meet then? ๐Ÿ˜
  2. I drove the 70 Monte to work today. It drives really nice. Engine has good power and the rebuilt trans is nice and smooth. Here is a photo on the way to work where I got stopped for construction for a few minutes.
  3. Welcome Brant! This is a great group here. Your Monte looks great!
  4. Reassembled! Rebuilt engine and transmission. Some tidying up in the engine bay.
  5. There was a member who removed the black Chevrolet emblem and put crosshairs in the chrome ring on his 71 SS. ๐Ÿ˜
  6. Welcome! I hope to see you at a future meet. ๐Ÿ™‚
  7. Sad to hear. ๐Ÿ˜ข
  8. Thereโ€™s a 5 year member badge on the grille the engine bay photo.
  9. I look forward to seeing the progress. I ordered my interior stuff from a few different vendors depending on the product I needed. You still have time to get it ready for the Western Meet in September. ๐Ÿ˜
  10. Thereโ€™s several little plugs in a small block. One decided to leak. The builder said out of the hundreds of small blocks he has rebuilt this is only the second plug he has had leak. I wasnโ€™t too critical. Stuff happens. He came over and did all the work to reinstall a plug and seal it up.
  11. Did some touch ups today. The rebuilt engine had an oil leak that could only be addressed by removing the head. A few weeks ago my engine builder came by to pull the head/intake and fix the plug that was causing the leak. I finally got around to doing the paint touch ups today.
