footballubet
They can be anywhere. Don't need to be by the compressor.
NewTimer
I guess my last question before I finalize my last order for this Vintage Air install; are there any difference in the fittings for the high and low side of compressor? I DO understand they have different purposes but are they mechanically different in anyway? ie: buying lo side fitting specifically is required? footballubet
You'll need one of each. The low and high side ports are different sizes so you can't install the hoses on the wrong side. Our machine at work charges through the high side where as the old 12r system charges through the low side.

footballubet
Not a problem. Hate to see you go through all that work and not be able to charge the system!
