CKZ03
My apologies to all that my be on my email list and recently receive some bogus scam/spam crap from my email account. Please don't open it, don't know what it is, probably a virus or worse. Im not sure what the heck is going on but Im certain it originates from this dammed I phone I got recently. Anyone else have any issues with hacking passwords out of your I phone?

Dans '70 Z20
They pick it up from your email account regardless of what device you access it from. The BOT somehow figured out your password. I have never seen it save contact lists, rather once they gain access to your email they simply enter and send out what they want to your contact list. It is just a BOT not a actual person. Simply change your email password. ( use capitols, letters, numbers, "_" underscores etc. to make it difficult for a BOT to figure out in the future ). Then the BOT will no longer have access to your account and it will end. When you change your password most sites will tell you how secure the password you are trying to change to is. This way you can continue to change it until you get the security level you want. This has happened to all of us. Dan

Sam (Bones)
I got a email from you Cory in my spam folder, I just deleted it
Shadow Gray SS
They can have control of your email without you having a virus. The BOT mentioned above simply figures out your password, logs in to your email and starts sending spam to your contacts or people you have sent or received email from. That is why a password change will generally shut it down.
Rob Peters
I have seen this happen with Yahoo email accounts more than any other email server. Like Dan said, change your email password. Rob

CKZ03
If you changed your password make it harder . I received another e mail today Not sure what else I can do, changed my password twice this week alone. Password is now up to about 30 digits/numbers, heck I cant even figure out my password anymore . This is about the fifth episode of this crap this year, never had a problem like this until I got this I phone. Craps getting old, I know when these emails go out cause I get a gazillion return replies to some saying non deliverable. Im thinking maybe I need to load up some anti virus software on my phone or change some settings? Hard to say what source the BOT is attacking, home computer or phone.
