Boots
Hello all....I was just wondering... to all that have replaced the wheel well trim...on my re-pop quarters there is an inner lip that measures1 1/2 inches from outside to inside... On the aftermarket trim, how much, if any, wheel lip is left (how much of the lip does the trim cover)...This info would be handy for me so I can trim a little off, to get a larger tire installed, or just leave it be... thanks a million Bill
Canuck
The trim covers most of the lip. My suggestion would be to buy the trim and test fit it to see how much you can cut off.
Boots
Thanks Aaron..just have to do some further math to make sure I am cutting enough back on my new 1 piece floor/rocker and trunk replacement to install a larger tire
D.E
My new repop trim is a little longer that the org.as it hits the body mldgs so I"ll tackle that next but just laying it up it touches both mldgs on 1/4 panel.Overseas junk and the door trim was warpped and twisted but I think it will go on ok
