Looks awesome Vince! Ya got a shot of the entire chassis?

What did you do to your Monte Carlo today?

That's quite the build Vince. Wow!
1 of 1919 produced, 1 of 147 produced
in Canada, 1 of 6 black on black produced
in Canada and 1 of 2 black on black with
buckets and console produced in Canada.
Lost in 1978 and Found in 2011.
The sorrow of what was once lost,
Is surpassed by the joy of it found.
What fuels us to persist in the search,
Are the memories that we hold dear.
I miss you Ron.

Paul the frame never came out from the time that I bought the car. It had already been blasted and paint by the previous owner so no rolling chassis pics.

ahhh, now we can see, the original chassis is there, changed forward of the firewall.
I've honestly never seen a leaf spring front suspension on the front (or rear) of a GM A-body. It eliminates those pesky upper & lower control arms, eh?

If you have slideouts be sure to tuck them in the lower corners at the seal.

The 72 came to life this morning/afternoon. Here is a video of it running https://www.facebook...85091891525777/ it was just a quick fire up the computer wants to idle at 750 RPM but it idles at 1K RPM's. I can say one thing it starts up very quick compared to the other EFI I had.

Test fit some new valve covers. Contemplating where to put the oil fill and PCV in & out fittings. I'll be using an in-line PCV so I just need hose fittings.
