72-CLASSIC_RIDE Posted March 3, 2015 Share Posted March 3, 2015 Hey all, After installation and test drive of my Cruise Control I found while system operates, it has a tendency of dropping off about 5 MPH and suddenly accelerates about 3 MPH over desired speed before settling down to desired speed. Kinda reacts the same in both directions but more so when falls below MPH set point. Looks like I am having an issue with Transducer maintaining a constant speed. I have found this seems to happen with a grade up or down but is most reactive with a down grade. Transducer always finds itself and accelerates or decelerates to set point and then based on grade, falls off and then accelerates until it finds desired speed again. In my pic, I identified what I believe is an adjustment nut. Need to know how this operates so that I know I am turning the nut in the right direction to stabilize Transducer. I am assuming this adjustment will allow me to dial in a closer calibration that will maintain Transducer speed control. As always, your help much appreciated.......... All have a GREAT day......
