rsorg
Has anyone here tried the Eaton brand springs for there front or rear suspensions?I put on new rear coils on my 72 with a 454 and It raised the rear about 1 and 3/4 inches, which is what I was looking for ,my concern is that I do not want my front end to high ,the fronts springs were replaced in 1980 ,so I think it may be time , I tried the bounce effect and the front end stops after 1-2 bounces ,so the shocks are good, but I also do not know if the ball joints were replaced ,and need to be ,thanks
BigdaddyT
No better time to do the ball joints when you change the springs, I have not used Eaton springs though.
cny first gen 71
Deff check ball joints and all front suspention but as long as springs are not broke and ride height is good why replace them, check all the bushings too because the time to change them is when you have it apart so you dont have do it twice. There that should get that old snow ball rolling
