Grease
hi VooDoo427... in my installation i hooked the power wire to the outer front pin . i had the Painless Wiring kit . there is only one wire to the transmission . there kit comes with a new lockup solenoid , a pressure switch to install in the valve body,a vacuum switch and a brake light switch.i also added a toggle switch to defeat the lockup when i dont want it on . i ran power from the fuse panel to the toggle switch . the vacuum switch and brake switch are both to interrupt the power and unlock converter .hard acceleration causes the vacuum switch to open the circuit and unlock . brake switch also opens the circuit to unlock .when these two switches are closed there is always power to the converter lock up soleniod.(in my car the toggle switch has to be ON also ) it cant lock until the valve body pressure switch sees pressure . i think that switch was installed in the 3rd gear pressure line of the valve body. hope this helps mike [This message has been edited by Grease (edited 10-31-2003).]
