superstk
This question may belong in another section but I need a tracing of the rear seat panel which is in trunk area. I want to create a sheet metal panel to isolate the trunk from seating area. I have an 8 gal. fuel cell in the trunk. Anyone have a panel they can trace for me? Thanks, Fred
420ponies
Doing this for my '65 chevelle. Best way to do it is to use a piece of cardboard.measure and rough cut it out then slowly trim it up to fit. I also do a measurement diagonally ("x"), to get my overall width. You can also cut the edge for a lip for you too either weld or rivet in the piece of sheet metal. Just cut one side of the cardboard an you will have a flap for the lip. I'd ask maybe a Home Depot or a Lowe's store. They have plenty of this stuff to use. I also used this for my Pro-Street wheel tubs. It saved me some headache there too. Hope this helps you out.
