Arvizu9618
When I select "vent/norm/max" or "defrost" the air constantly keeps coming out of the floor as if "heat" has been selected, I have checked all vacuum connections and they appear to all be intact, the only way to get air out to the top is to manually chock the door on where the core is located. Any suggestions???
Rob Peters
When you say there is not problem with the vacuum are you talking about inside the engine compartment or under the dash. Inside the car and under the dash is where the flapper is to change the airflow from heat on feet, out the defrost or out the dash vents. If you have vacuum at the flapper valves in this plentum then one of these flapper valves is bad. If you don't have vacuum at these and the vacuum doesn't change as you move the selector switch then the problem may be in the selector switch.
