nickmthw
Im putting a 5.3 in my 72 with hopes of adding 2 turbos..I have the truck manifolds flipped upside down. and motor set it. the thing Is I want and will keep the A/C somehow.. but most brackets I see are crazy expensive for low mounts that may just barely clear the frame I wasn't looking to notch the frame and the high mount A/C systems set it up high on the passenger side that makes it appear to be in the way of the turbo. Has anyone had a low mount a/c that are NOT crazy expensive and and NOT notched the frame. The driver side PS and Alternator brackets sets in fine and will clear the turbo on that side. I am using the Dirty Dingo double D mounts. Thanks Nick

nickmthw
Stupid question....how will the exhaust be run? Interesting project. rob I plan to face the backside of the turbo towards the firewall..and run the piping over towards where the back of the manifolds would normally be and down..there is plenty of room.. with motor in stock location I can fit a 3.5" pipe down between the block and firewall and never hit anything
