I got around to fabbing up and test fitting my 75 dollar seat upgrade to replace my ugly stock buckets. I picked these up out of an 04 Acura RSX premium at my local pick n pull for 35 each. I then grinded off the stock brackets and welded on my own out of 1/8" hardened steel. Turned out pretty good and had a lot of fun doing it.

Looks good...how comfortable are they? Could a short wife see over the steering wheel? Do you have some more pictures of your interior? We are kinda thinking of going the same route with the b&m shifter.

That looks really nice! I bet they are more comfortable than the stock ones. I have to do something with my seats, the covers are held together with duct tape and it's starting to stick to my butt.

The seats are probably some of the most comfortable stock buckets I've ever sat in. The nice thing is they have height and lumbar adjustments so shorter people will easily get comfy in these. I'm 6'3" so I have them set to the lowest but still have have room to push them back some.

The B&M I ended up fabbing and welding in my own mount to raise it 2" and push it back another 2". The stock shifter was too far out of reach to really slam the gears without reaching. It now sits right in my hand.

I'll take some more pictures for you now that it's more complete and the dash is back in

Is there an easier way to mount them do you think? Dont have the tools or space to fab anything myself.

Those seats look great! I may have to start visiting you-pull-it yards to find something like that.

I'm going to have to find somewhere else to host my pics. Seems photobucket will no longer allow me to share them without paying 400 a year! I'll post pics as soon as I can find a way to get them off of photobucket and to somewhere else.

Interior is back together except no door panels yet. Having too much fun driving it and time lately has been scarce.

Yup the seats would be practically free if it was in American dollars lol We have places called Kenny U pull here and all parts are flat prices no matter the condition or what vehicle they are from. You can find some real gems but things get picked fast. Not sure if the states have something similar?

Unfortunately it takes some fabrication in order to fit these in safely. I had to make custom mounts to Weld to the floor since I started with a bench seat car. Not to mention the brackets I had to fab for underneath the car to bolt to. Then the seats themselves need custom mounts made. The previous owner hacked in the factory bucket seats in with bolts through the floor and alot of washers. While it's an easy way of doing it, it's terrifyingly unsafe and a large reason why I redid them.

I just noticed the photobucket thing myself. Sad as I have been using them for a long time.

Interestingly enough, if I open the pictures by right clicking and opening in a new window they will now load here.
