My son and I have a new project

Recommended Posts

Wow, Dale, that is one eye-catching SS Monte - very, very nice!!   That's a super nice trailer it's on, also, BTW.  Love the father-son-car relationship ... never had that privilege but starting to enjoy something similar with my grandson.  Looking forward to hearing and seeing more of that gorgeous SS!  Enjoy!

I have the papers all made out ,( adoption ). sending them your way. I'd like a new '17 ZL1 Camaro, red with black stripes. How am I doing? Very nice looking Monte! tell your son he is one very lucky boy! Love the color.

Wow! What a beautiful car! My Monte started as a father-son project. I can't wait to get it back from paint so we can cruise together. I have the 70 Monte Carlo and he has the 70 Camaro Z-28.

I know, I know, but every Monte we have owned gets the "sticker" treatment!  How do I  go about getting another First Gen sticker? To tell you the truth it had one on it already. I tried to move it and reapply to the windshield like the other 71 I have but did not work out.

Wow that thing pops!  On my computer, it looks orange....what color is it?   Give us the specs!

Congrats!

It is red. Yes in the pics it does look orange. We are going to build a 396 for it. We have the new carpet for it, new grant steering wheel is on, seats are going to be recovered, B&M ratchet shifter. We need to go thru the brakes, the right front caliper is froze up. The plan is to have it going by late summer. Just depends on my health and the funds. I have Parkinson's so some days I'm just not able to do much. This project gives me reason to push on!
