Mufflers

What's everyone using for mufflers? My '72 is bone stock, stock manifolds. I have 2 1/2 dual exhaust with dynamax mufflers that a local shop insisted were perfect for my car. I don't mind the exhaust tone at idle, but driving I'm less than impressed. My '70 Monte had Mangaflows and sounded awesome, but that motor had work done to it. I like Flowmasters too, but I don't want my Monte to sound like every Silverado driving down the street. What's your thoughts on this, does it not matter much since the engine is stock, or is there a clear difference? I don't want single chamber Flowmasters, too loud.

I'm running the turbo mufflers from Magnaflow. Nice low tone and the drone in the cabin is not to bad. If a person had sound deadner on the floor it would be perfect. I have a SBC and it sounds real good.

I have Flowmasters on my SBC 72. I am not sure which model but I love the sound with 2 1/2" stainless steel pipes all the way back form the headers. It is a lot quieter now that we have install the Dynamat clone material and the mass backing on the new ultra plush carpeting. Before we ran the radio at the 22 setting and still could not hear it real well. Now we only have the radio set at the 9 or 10 setting and we still can have a conversation.
