1970mcss Posted February 6, 2018 Share Posted February 6, 2018 I'm looking for information about the hose or pipe that is correct for my 454 engine. I have been putting the car back to stock and have a question about the hose from the valve cover to the breather on the air cleaner. I bought a 90 degree elbow and a hose from the Parts Place. The hose seems to be a bit large on the breather (not sure if it needs to be clamped). I have seen a few pictures that members have posted that have a metal pipe. Could the rubber hose be the ~ 2" connector used at the top to attach the pipe or tube to the plastic crankcase filter inside of the air cleaner? 1970mcss Posted February 10, 2018 Author Share Posted February 10, 2018 The parts place shows the 90 degree bent rubber hose for the LS6 Chevelle. They have one on ebay for about 130.00.
