1970mcss
Is there any trick to removing the lower door moldings? I see two screws, one on each end but I'm not. Sure how to remove the clips.
black07ss
Remove the screws then push down on the molding and at the same time pull out at the bottom of the molding works for me
Leghome
If they are after market be very careful even with Bob,s method (one of the best) they will bend. I have experience inthis
cny first gen 71
Paul do you mean the door molding or the rocker panel molding?
1970mcss
The door molding. They don't seem to lay flat to the door. They seem to bow out so I not sure if thats normal or maybe some clips are missing
cny first gen 71
There isn't supposed to be screws holding that on, there plastic clips that pop into the door and molding pops onto them.
Rob Peters
Steve is correct.... No screws in the door moulding, rob
overdrive
Yes, there are 2 screws. Like he said, they are at each end. The screws are found by opening the door and looking at the door edges. They go into the end clips that slide into the ends of the trim. Â Dan

Canuck
Yes a screw on each end accessible from inside the door. Then pop it off the plastic clips.
