Windjamer14 Posted March 25, 2018 Share Posted March 25, 2018 Did anyone ever have the ac belt not line up with the power steering pulley ? looks like the ac sets back just enough to make the power steering to make a little noise like 1/8 to a 1/4 of a inch ? Andy's Auto Posted March 27, 2018 Share Posted March 27, 2018 Are you doing the small power steering belt and the ac belt? I thought the ac belt on my 71 was off so I made a fixture out of 1/2 inch aluminum L braket around 45 inches lock that follows the bend between the ac comp, power steering pump, and crank. What looked like 3/4 inch was actually 1/16". I just tightened the short belt at the pump and no more squeak. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
