Monteman1971 Posted May 1, 2018 Share Posted May 1, 2018 I've done it a bunch of times. If you have basic skills and tools you can get it done no problem. But I typically put a spot weld on the bottom to hold it in so it looks more factory. If you don't have a welder I'd bring it to your local body shop and ask them to do the spot weld...If they charge you more than a couple of bucks I'd be surprised.
