Missing defrost transition???

Crank

Recommended Posts

I’m installing the shift works gauges and tac this morning, and noticed I am missing a transition piece between the heater outlet and the plastic defrost vent for the windshield. Can someone help me please! What does it look like? Possibly a picture? Was hoping to complete this nasty job todaypost-7204-0-20262000-1528036460_thumb.png

You already have what you need, other than the fastener that is missing. See that small hole in the heater box just below that steel tab with a larger hole in it. you need to put a fastener in there to connect the plastic duct to the heater box. There is always a gap down there. That does not get sealed up.

You don’t happen to have a picture of the fastener do you?? I was thinking just a couple tabs made out of 1” flat, one at each end.
