sredmyer Posted June 4, 2018 Share Posted June 4, 2018 I am working to restore/upgrade one of my 70 SSs and am wanting to add the power drivers seat. I understand that the seat track mounting brackets are different for the power seat than they are for the regular (non-power) but am not sure how the new brackets should be mounted. I bought these brackets from the Parts Place. Can someone tell me do I just remove the original brackets for non-power seat and weld these in the same place the originals were removed from? He will know exactly what you are wanting to know. He might be busy ,but he will get back with you about it. He is a general whizz on our Monte Carlo's.
