tire selection 225/70 vs 235/70

Recommended Posts

hello
i have a 1971 first generation monte carlo
i will be using original 15x7 "FW" stamped ralleys

i was going to use 225/70/15 tires all around
but was also considering 235/70/15

any opinions on the 225 vs the 235?

thanks

I used to have 235/60s on mine but found the sidewall was not tall enough to fill the wheel opening. 235/70s should look good.

In 2007 (WOW 11 years already!) I got Cooper P225, the only thin single stripe WSW I could find. I don't think ANYONE sells them now.
