I wanted to share some pictures I found recently of my family in 1979 with our Gulf Green 72 Monte Carlo. It was dad's daily driver for several years until I reached high school age and then my folks gave me the car. I drove it for about 5 years and even entered it in some car shows. In 1988, I sold the Monte and bought a new car. Should have kept the Monte! In the 30 plus years since, I've had 4 other Montes including this Nevada Silver 71 and Cranberry Red 71 convertible which I currently own.
