John S Posted January 11, 2019 Share Posted January 11, 2019 I'm sure everyone who has worked on their Montes have seen the scale that builds up inside of radiator and if in the radiator I' sure it is also in the heater core. I have read that a 50/50 mix of vinegar or less and water will remove it. Some articles state to rinse with a box of baking and water to neutralize some don't. cny first gen 71 Posted January 12, 2019 Share Posted January 12, 2019 Is it a snotty kind of stuff or crusty kind of stuff? there are some pretty good flush machines out there now, check with your local shops to see who has one. Anti freeze is treated as hazard meterial now so doing it yourself is a little risky. You really cant just hose it off the driveway any more.
