Guest
Eastwood www.eastwoodcompany.com has polishing compounds, including for plastics that I used on mine. They also have small buffing wheels etc. that I have used.
MarchieB
The BEST kit on the market is the Nuvo-Shine™ Plastic Polishing Kit Year One . Year one sells it but they want way TOO much $$. This kit should be avalible at any good hobby supply shop. It has gritted cloth from 3000 - 12000 grit. After using the kit the lens will have a slight dull look. Use this stuff from Meguiars http://www.meguiars.com/product_showroom/showproducts_template.cfm?SrcLine=PI . NOvus also used to sell similar products if you can find them somewhere. This combo should make your lenses brand spanking new MarchieB [This message has been edited by MarchieB (edited 11-22-2002).]
Guest
My parking lenses were cloudy too and I thought I would have to get new ones. But after removing them and cleaning the backside they are as clear as can be. I assume you tried that tho. ------------------ 1971 Monte Carlo, 350, th350, black, black top, light sandal wood interior 1971 Monte Carlo, 350, th350, blue, blue interior ACE VENTURA 1987 Olds Cutlass Supreme, 350 Rocket, Th350, gray/gray 1967 Pontiac Catalina, 400, Th400, cameo ivory white, red interior 1994 Chevy Beretta Z26
Guest
I use crest toothpaste. Just enough grit to really shine suppose to be clear plastic and cheap too.
