Took the Monte to a car show yesterday, placed in the top 25 cars, and got a trophy. That's the second show and second trophy. I didn't even have time to really detail the car. This car gets a lot of attention on the road and at the shows. People just stop what there doing and watch it go by, give thumbs up, run off the road, etc. Seems like everyone has a story to tell at the shows about when they owned one or someone they new owned one.

I painted my rally wheels two weeks ago with Eastwood rally wheel paint but the paint left a rough, powdery finish. Anyone else had this problem? Eastwood sent me another can. I'm wondering if it was bad paint in the can or if anyone else had this problem before I waste another day doing it again with the same results.

I have to replace a wiper blade on the passenger side of my Monte and I found 16" refills at Carquest. These are the right size but just don't fit really good. They are not the same as the originals. I would hate to be going down the road, it come off, and scratch my windsheild. What are others using? Where do you purchase wiper blade refills? Any other tricks to making these universals work better? Thanks, Kevin

It looks like my 1971 Monte trunk is currently painted with the black/aqua splatter paint. Should I go with the black/aqua or black/gray paint for a 71 trunk. Not sure if it's original or not. I purchased the Grey Herringbone trunk mat and was going to get a Grey Herringbone spare tire cover. I don't believe they make the spare tire cover in Aqua Herringbone. What is everyone else doing? Any recommendations?
