Pete served as a Vice President for a couple of years and then as President of the club for more than one year. Above and beyond his duties as President, he organized the Annual Meet at Woodward in 2004 with record member attendance. Under his leadership, the club transformed into a members-managed club by adding new club officer positions and filling them with dedicated members. I remember meeting Pete the first time at our Annual Meet in Indianapolis 2001. I also had the pleasure to work with him as Vice President.
