  2. Now ya see it, now ya don't! Passenger side cooler is for transmission, other is engine oil. Thermostats on each fender skirt. I added a small bar from each cooler to the hood latch reinforcement so they don't vibrate. Grommet behind the right fender extension is for the #6 AC line. Both lines sneak in front of the battery. The #6 line stays well hidden up in the fender and will come out right at the expansion valve at the AC box.

  6. Made a couple modifications to the rotisserie and got the body turned on its side. Turns relatively easy for a homemade rig. Anyone here used the one piece floor from AMD? Any tips?

  7. Red you beat me to it. Any idea about the singe orange wire? If you need a better picture let me know. It is not an easy spot to get to. I traced it up into the main wiring harness where it heads back towards to driver's side and then dips back towards the fuse block (I believe).

  8. That single orange wire is not for a console. I can see the correct black connector for a console in that picture. It is the connector with the orange, gray and white wire in it. The console connector is just below the single orange wire and to the right.

  9. The second link you posted was our group at the 2017 Western Meet. Dennis interviewed member Matt Hilla with his green 72. Right at the beginning you can briefly see my Montes among several others behind Dennis. Here's the full episode:

  10. I spoke with my first cousin who lives in Salina, KS recently and learned that his family and Tim Pestinger's family have been friends for several years. My cousin's oldest son and Tim's son were high school classmates in Salina. Also, my cousin has toured Tim's car collection and is certain he has seen the LS6 modified Monte Carlo although he didn't recognize the significance of its rareness or appeal at the time (but he knows now). He just remembers it reminding him somewhat of my first '70 Monte Carlo that I had in Kansas City while he was in law school at KU in nearby Lawrence, KS. Based on their family friends relationship, I am hopeful to get my eyes (and camera) on Tim's LS6 '70 SS on my next visit to my hometown and will report back if/when I do.
