LOL! This reminds me of an old episode of the TV show "Get Smart". Secret agents Maxwell Smart from Control, and Sigfreid from KAOS meet for a peace talk. They put aside all their weapons; the guns, knives, brass knuckles, etc. Sigfreid says "that's everything...except my suicide ring". Max is surprised and says "A suicide ring? We don't get those...how does it work"? Sigfreid says " It's simple...If I take it off, my wife will kill me".

thanks guys, your picture shows a little higher than the one I removed but mine was not factory or dealer. There is the screw hole and on the back of the display there is a plastic nib that would fit into a hole to prevent the display from turning. Mine didn't have the extra hole so the diplay did not sit flat. thanks again Grant

I went with an optima battery in my 70 SS. I used the top terminals and I believe 1gauge wire. 2x as thick as stock.

I found a picture of mine. I had the Masters on while working in the garage. The Monte grille covering the heater was the old grille I replaced after I hit the deer last year

I will also have a 10x11 area to put a TV and a couch for a mini man cave. I’ll be able to see the TV from the bays where the Montes are too so I can have the NASCAR race on while working in there. I may even get a small fridge. Party at my place once the pandemic is over!

What you are seeing on the inside of your valve covers is condensation/moisture from sitting. A few heat cycles and it should go away. If not or gets worse there is a possibility that water is getting into the oil from the cooling system. That does NOT look like the case at this time.
