  1. Most of the under hood and trunk lights I have seen are operated by a mercury switch in the light itself. Youi raise the lid it comes on and lower it goes off. If they are not coming on when the lid opened then the bulb is bad, broken wire or not connected.

  2. So I had a hunch. Kinda expensive considering I didn’t need them. Inline has speaker clips that I believe would be a great solution to the frame rail clips for the air leveling system. A little tap tap with the bench grinder to take off the rounded edge or use as is.

  3. I believe there is an In Line Fuse in between the Wiring from Bulb contact to connection on Bulk Head. I would suggest using a light tester probe under hood lite by removing bulb, with Hood up touch Light tester probe on the mercury switch and see if it lights the tester, then check in line fuse 1st. Is this a Custom Model? They came standard with the Light Group. Good luck with your project. Doug

  4. Most 1970 hoods will have the sprayers at the rear edge of the hood which is why they were routed through the holes in the cowl that year. The 71/72 hood has the sprayers a little further forward spraying through the vent area of the hood and therefore they don’t get routed through the cowl.

  6. 1970 was different and ran through the holes. My 71 looks just like your bottom picture. I have a picture of a 70 to show you how it was and a picture of my 1971. Bruce
