  1. I personally wouldn't use the car dolly. Rent a u-haul trailer at least. With the way people drive now a days I would want at least a trailer of some sorts to try and protect my investment or I would just drive it there. My .02

  2. Yes, you would need to disconnect the driveshaft. all them funny little widgets in the tranny are lubed by the tranny pump when running.

  3. Yup, 72 Cutlass Supreme convertible. the absolute best thing? I paid $25 above the asking price of $225. Gave him the $250 and booked back to my shop.

  5. He scores! Been looking for a decent set of A body seat cores for my 70 Buick convertible for over a year. It was always a grand for junk and $700 a set for garbage. These popped up very randomly on Offerup while I was looking for firing cannons. Yeah, I collect those. Guy was about an hour north and said he still had them. Left the shop at 10, back at one yesterday. And the driver seat is power, and it works.

  7. my son in-law put 17" on his 2001 Z28 so hw could use bigger brakes for better stopping and they look great (not rally's) but so do the Corvette style calipers

  8. I'm also old school so I like the 15...... But the 17 do give it a more modern look and thank God you didn't go with 20's have to get used to that look. So I'm no help lol

  9. 15's look better to me. The 17's look too big for the Camaro's wheel wells.

  11. I'll vote for the 15's .........I think the wheels look better. And its sorta Monte related since you can see the fenders.

  12. I too love the shop. They both look good. The 17's have less sidewall, tough call. I would probably leave the 15's on the car. A nice problem to have!!!

  14. I like them. You got just enough fender and quarter panel in the photos to make it Monte related.

  15. Ok, not Monte related but figured you guys would give an honest opinion. So yesterday I took the 17" Rally type wheels off the '72 (hmmm...Monte related, lol) and wanted to see how they look on the Z/28. Reason being, if I want to put bigger brakes on the car, the 15" GM wheels won't work. The tires in the pics will need to be a little shorter than what's currently on there, so the sidewall will be a bit shorter. So what say you, 'Good, Bad, or 'No big deal'? Don't be shy, I can take the truth, either way. Thank you! With the GM 15" With the American Racing 17"

  16. That's exactly what I did. I used all 3 of the vent lines from the tank to the separator behind the back seat, and put the filter on the remaining/open hard line up on that set of lines up high. Fram G2 filter fit good. Tank is vented, no worry about fuel spillage with it mounted high, and I don't smell any vapors, at least to date..
