I got my American Racing Headers today! They look amazing. Much cleaner that I thought (thought they would be rough looking).

I personally wouldn't use the car dolly. Rent a u-haul trailer at least. With the way people drive now a days I would want at least a trailer of some sorts to try and protect my investment or I would just drive it there. My .02

My Gardner system was 1528 inc shipping but keep in mind that I still have the factory exhaust manifolds. I’m sure that they can do a header system but you’re going to have to call them. That was complete including concourse correct hangers flanges clamps etc.It is cheaper to go with there just correct kit and not concourse kit and I got the chrome tips also (not numbered)

I don’t know if this helps your question but when I got the invoice for my Gardner system every line item says chevelle. So I called Gardner to make sure I was getting the correct system and talked to Mr. Eric Gardner himself and his words were the Monte and the chevelle use the exact same system (as I suspected) . So that may help you. Take it for what it’s worth

Great job on the compressor! You'll need to turn the bracket on the compressor end around the other way. I used ARH headers too. They are really great quality. Dan

I just completed restoring my air leveling compressor.

I drove my 1970 to work today. I put my rebuilt carb on last night and it is running a little better. Here’s a pic of where I had my lunch.

I aggree I would avoid the dolly. I drive mine almost 300 miles one way to Carlisle only had one minor problem once. When I was thinking about Bristol I thought about renting a trailer but they are pretty expensive for almost a week, but since they changed the date I cant make it. Good luck.

I just got my transmission back today. The bell housing ear had been cut off on one side so I had a new bell housing installed.
