Couldn’t tell ya. But I’d interpret it as a sign from the Monte Gods You need to start playing these numbers in your local Pick 3 & Pick 4 lottery. $1 straight, $1 box.2 points

Most everyone that kept them alive after 50 years has updated to duals. I did it in the eighties to all my cars. I never had a 6 cylinder so I didn’t pull that trick. Cut the cat add headers and duals.1 point

First I hope that everyone that left today had a safe trip home. That being said also thanks for freeing up some parking spots so us common people without their Monte's could park in the club area 🤣🤣 Yes I was at the track again today, lost both races, broke out (went faster than I said I would) but that's why they call it racing and not winning. And a bad day at the track is better than a good day at work. I had a GREAT weekend and glad I made the trip !1 point

I think Dragcat and one or two more took a tour down the 1/4 miler.. Several Montes won at The Bristol All Chevy show today , Jarod will post pictures later I expect.. was a good trip. My wife and I met some of the nicest people in the fgmcc and was a pleasure to spend time with them. A lot of hard work went into the meet and was organized well. Thanks Jarod, Donnie, and Jarod’s mom and whomever else was involved.. hope too see everyone soon! Ron...1 point

That is great. Thanks to everyone who is attending this meet. Thanks also to Jared for planning this years Eastern Meet. It takes a lot of time and dedication to put on a club meet. From arranging for door prizes to arranging for a hotel, arranging for a restaurant which can handle an award dinner, to arranging activities to keep people entertained to getting the award plaques. None of this work would mean a thing if we did not have members to attend. From the list of attendees it looks like we had attendees from way down in Florida to up near the Canada border, With all meets, we run into issues, and this one was no different. The main challenge with this meet was with about 2 1/2 weeks till the meet, the award plaques arrived at Jared's house with them being damaged by UPS during shipping. Jared notified me right away and with Jared sending me pictures of the damage to the shipping box and damage to the plaques I was able to get all of the plaques replaced within about a week and a half. I think the new plaques arrived with only about a week before the meet. One thing we can not have any control over is the weather but it looks like the weather has been fantastic for you people at the meet. Enjoy your final evening at the meet and everyone have a safe trip home. Rob1 point

Well there’s some of us here that can attest to the fact that they do not come clean. One member has had three sets just in the past year and all have brown letters that do not come clean. Here is the answer I got from BF Goodrich regarding the brown letter tires. I asked if they resolved the issue and can assure me it won’t happen again. We cannot assure you this won't happen, what we can assure you is that if happens, we will take care of it. The source of the tires discoloration can be varied. One possibility is that the tires contain an anti-ozone agent in their rubber compounds to slow down the ill effects of exposure to ozone in the air. This anti-ozone ingredient will migrate to the surface of the rubber and leave the appearance of a brownish dust. The browning is the normal functioning of the anti-oxidants in the rubber that prevent ozone cracking. While it's not pretty to look at, it can likely be washed off and it is a sign that the compound is working to defend from ozone cracking. Other possibilities for discoloration can be simply dust that is picked up from normal driving or brake dust which is generated by the abrasion of the brake pads against the brake rotor. This latter condition is more prevalent when the brakes are new or have recently been relined. In all cases, we recommend that you continue to clean your tires with a mild soap and water. If the problem persists, then you would need to present the vehicle to an authorized tire dealer for inspection and have the dealer call us while you are there. If we can assist you further, please respond to this email or call us at 888-871-4444 (toll-free) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST Monday through Friday. We appreciate your business and thank you for choosing BFGoodrich.1 point
