Joe we need to bring tons of hand stress relievers and the 2x4 Dennis has in that frame on the wall (not to throw just to have him remember, he got klonked) Dennis dont make fun of me sitting there while the cars are running, i am trying to fog the whole greenhouse up and see if i can find my way out before i pass out. So far i have been making it. However i have been known to trip a few times on the way out. lol

Willie you need to open the doors on the greenhouse when you run the cars. The exhaust fumes are eating away at you brain and your forgetting things. So let me say it again. NOT HAPPENING. If, by chance you're looking to put one in anyways, look for one from a mid-70's Nova. It tucks right inside the fender near the battery, looks like it was supposed to be there. They're readily available from most of the usual suppliers. The cap is a separate item that usually needs to be ordered as well.

I really just think it stands for Baltimore since every Baltimore built Monte seems to have it. That’s just a guess though. As far as the F meaning it is a 71 SS, I’m not sure I’m ready to say that is a sure thing. I have not found anything that suggests it isn’t correct but the sample size isn’t large enough to fully conclude on that. I’ll continue to check tags at the meets or any other 71 Montes I see. The evidence so far sure points to it being correct though.

I took the hose from the windshield washer reservoir and installed it to the radiator for the overflow tank. Washer pump doesn't work at the moment and was the quickest thing to do at the track. Lolol

When I exchanged my 350 CI to a 402 CI, I used the same factory discharge hose without any fitment issues. Can't say it is the right hose but it was like plug & play on the conversion. This is a 1972 Monte by the way.................... Doug

70-72 Montes did not have an overflow bottle. They simply have a tube that spits out the excess on the ground.

The parts place just came out with ac Delco air shock kit.
