  2. Still bumming about missing the Eastern Meet but I did get some monte time yesterday and today. Put front brakes on my 2500 HD Silverado and had to take monte to get a caliper all the other parts I already had. It fought me a little especially doing it on the ground in my driveway but I won. What a difference the drilled and slotted rotors made, more so on the front than the rear. I'll find out for sure next week when I take the trailer out for the holiday weekend. Hope everyone is having a great time at the meet!

  3. Actually, turns out this one was user error. I'd not reattached the negative battery cable when testing the voltage, so it was showing the full 12V since I was completing the ground with the multimeter. Looks like after reattaching and retesting, I'm getting 12V on run and 0V on off, so looks good now.

  4. Moving along with reassembly. Bought a wiring harness kit from Painless Performance, also upgrading to 3 point retractable seat belts. Got inner fenderwells from OPGI . Driver side needed a slight cut/modification, passenger side was ok. Installed a vacuum pump for the power brake booster. After testing the wiring, we'll start reinstalling the glass so that we can proceed with sanding/buffing and polishing the paint. I've tried uploading photos but I keep getting an error/failure message. has anyone else been having this problem lately? Mike

  7. Got off work Wednesday morning, decided to finish the car instead of going to bed. Undercoated the outside to hopefully seal it up from the elements, reassembled it & done. He came to get it yesterday, paid & even made me a big pot of spaghetti sauce & meatballs! Everyone is happy. You can see where the shock was poking at the interior trim piece, lol.
