  2. Took mine out today, cleaned it up from the nationals then went out to see my grand kids. My grand daughter wanted to sit in the car and was playing with the crank window. My grandson walked all the way around like he was inspecting it to make sure its still good for when he gets older.

  3. All four first gens I've owned were purchased with under 100,000 miles but the way I look at buying a low mileage vehicle is that someone preserved it for me to drive. šŸ˜Ž I like being able to say how low the mileage is but driving gives me a lot more enjoyment. I put on about 1,700 miles for the Western Meet this year with the 71 and will have roughly 3,000 miles added to my 1970 odometer this year driving to work. I look forward to next year's 2,000 mile road trip to Utah for the Western Meet!

  7. The second hand is moving but I donā€™t think the other hands do. But I noticed that when I was driving, and the ā€œsetā€ knob was pulled out. So Iā€™ll reset it and see if it works. But Iā€™ll make sure that I set it after 5:00. Lol

  8. Well I will bump this old thread for a quick picture. I just surpassed the quarter thousand mile mark. First time out since I got back from Carlisle. No issues yet so thatā€™s been pretty good. I did hear a rattle today so I may have to look at it. Would that fall under the builders warranty? Lol. Donā€™t mind the dust that a Carlisle trophy

  9. I was at a HOA meeting a few years back and standing outside talking with some neighbors I know and the local sheriff walked up. (they gave a community crime report) He knew the other neighbors so I introduced myself, he said you look awful familiar, I was like seriously dude, you have to start with that? He laughed and said it must be the hair and we all laughed.

  10. Ha! Not at all. I just recognized him as being the owner and giving commentary about his Monte in that video. I had literally just watched it for a second time a couple weeks ago when I was bored and going through Monte related videos on YouTube. He was quick to tell me that him miss spoke when he said he used it as a daily driver and to go barhoppingā€¦ he clarified that he never drove it in the winter.

  11. Hopefully not someone you arrested at some point lol. I was at a show with a friend of mine one time he's a retired sheriff a guy walks up to him starts a conversation afterwards he tells me he arrested him a couple times but were talking like they were old friends. He said he always treated everyone with as much respect as they give him.
