Some cars were ordered with an option called "Belt Molding" which was mounted on the outside of the car along the door and quarter panel along the glass. This belt molding was standard on the 72 Monte Carlo Custom. rob1 point

The vinyl top has has 9 total pieces of trim the drip rail has 4 pieces per side the weatherstrip trim has 4 per side the front glass has 3 plus the the really wide one the back glass has 4 pieces plus you got all the chrome in the back you have the lower figured out. If you want/need certain pictures call me and I can send no sense in buying it if you have it there’s a lot of chrome, it can be deceiving when it is all in a pile. Let me know1 point

Not much to report but things have been moving on my Monte. They discovered a little rocker panel rust, all rusty sections were cut out and new metal was welded in. Very small amount of rust was found on the front fenders behind the front wheels. Repaired accordingly. All new body mounts were installed, and used replacement GM door hinges were rebuilt. I ordered 2 doors from Leo, and they arrived a few months ago. My shop sent them out to be blasted and they came back as expected...rust free. But one had a dent in it, not sure if it was covered up by bondo, or if it fell and got dented after blasting. My body shop said they would take care of it. Much easier to fix a dent then work with a rusty door. I'll check on it this week and see if any progress has been made. He lets me keep my enclosed trailer on his property, and I need to pick it up and trade it for a new one. When I was moving to Fl. I pulled my car into the trailer and couldn't get out. Too large (fat), so I guess I need a trailer with a left side escape door. More money. Pictures to follow1 point

I am very happy with my Sniper. My gas mileage increased by a third. On our trip to Carlisle we started out at 12MPH on the third tank it increased to 16 MPH. The Sniper is a self learning system and it had to adjust to my engine. My son in-law set it up as they suggested and it ran really good but now it runs fantastic. I have a SMB 350 bored 20 over with flat top pistons, roller cam and lifters, HEI distributor, hooker headers hooked up to 2 1/2” stainless exhaust 700r4 Tranny and Richmond 3:73 positraction1 point

Just keep in mind that the factory alignment specs are for "factory original" tires.... using a wide tire will have some variances.1 point

Finally got a little motivation and started to wire it up. Plenty more to go, but at least The main harness is modified enough to suit my needs, taped up & bolted to the firewall. The EFI power harness is run to the trunk where the battery is located, and just need to keep building from there. On a side track, I made what is probably the most expensive wall clock ever 😁. When I got the ZR1 corvette, most of them had a problem with a front end shimmy around 69-74 mph. After all sorts of troubleshooting it turns out it was the Brembo carbon ceramic brake rotors in most cases. My GM dealer covered them under warranty & let me do it at my shop, but they naturally wanted the parts back. Long story short, the bad rotors sat at the dealership for years waiting for GM to reimburse them, however it never happened. I kept asking for them to make a clock, but the parts manager kept saying NO, lol. Well, last week I was there visiting and he pulls me aside.... The list price of the rotors were something like $2300 each at the time.... price of a clock from Amazon $11.95. I still have to do the other rotor, but no big hurry. *** No Carbon Ceramic rotors were harmed making this clock*** 😆1 point
