  1. Another day, another car cruise/show. My view today. Spent the day with our grandkids at the Greentree Boro Octoberfest. It was a beautiful day. Grandkids decorated some pumpkins to decorate the Monte on the car cruise field.

  3. 1st......Welcome to the Club! Best $25 you'll ever spend. We also like to spend your money on parts we admire. 2nd ,Nice Monte ,as for the top,if your keeping it out of the elements ,put the top on. I have a trick to keep the rain out of the rear package tray area channel under the glass. The gold color cars, look better with the vinyl top to me . Like Steve said, you're car ,do what you want. Going back original or modify your ride ? We also like details on what you have there. Mine is a '72 also.4 yr restoration ( weekends only). 2 guys ,1 shop. Nut and bolt frame off style.Lots of rust and repair panels. 16yrs ,looks about the same, ( I know all the bad spots). Do something more to it every year, never done. Going 427BBC / Turbo 400, 3:73 12 next.....The it might be finished.

  4. Yes, Two-Tone was an option but only in Antique White for a roof color and 4 or 5 body colors. rob

  5. Bronze guides are a factory part..... Better heat dispersion and being being the smallest/easiest part to replace, they were meant to be the part that wore out first. (Softer metal theory)

  7. If I remember correctly, that should be it Aaron. Also check out Ground up website with the 70 steering wheel kit, I believe it's all the parts layed out.

  8. That’s it I believe. Should be the same as your 71 with the NK wheel. You could temporarily borrow it from that to check.

  11. I have the cam specs. I don't know what the torque converter it has. I bought this car from Iowa. Hired the Lemon Squad to inspect it and they never road tested it, but lied on the report. I'm lucky the car never had any rust the paint is excellent and the engine was rebuilt. Transmission is good. I just had to deal with no brakes.
