  1. Looking good Doug. For any slight changes I also have black bucket seats with console. I also have tilt and power trunk release. I'm seeing most customs were all AC cars. Strange mine was built and lived in California and never had AC!
  2. Definitely look original, I have very similar tags on my shocks making Me believe they are original as well
  3. Those turned out great doug! They remind me of those red line tires that some of the 60's chevelles came with. Makes me wonder how those would look with red line tires!!
  4. Thanks Doug! Engine is a 350 and th350 tranny, unmodified in its original condition
  5. I appreciate the work your doing on the spreadsheets. Sorry I was general on my description. But if your interested in adding it has black bucket seats with comfort tilt option with NK4??? Sterring wheel which is 4 spoke. From what I understand if your custom has comfort tilt it comes with that wheel. Most other customs come with the common custom wheel with cursive monte carlo script. Maybe others can chime in on this???Mine is also a non AC car with Am/Fm radio. Power trunk release and cruise control. Thanks again for compiling this information Doug!
  6. I also have a custom in pewter silver. 350 car with th350 as well. Numbers matching and 66k original miles.car was built in Van Nuys California in November of 71 and stayed in California until 1988. I'm the third owner. It also has factory cruise control which still works!
  7. Joseph it looks great! It was great meeting you the last couple years at local car shows and all your compliments on my car! Can't wait to see that beauty in person soon!
  8. Is that just the angle of picture or does the headlights look square instead of round?
  9. Here's what my trunk lid deck looks like with trunk release. The wire runs out the right side(passenger side) part of the trunk. The left side(driver side) has the trunk light wire. I'm assuming this is how it is from the factory but not sure. Here are some pics.

  11. My 72 custom also came with side post heavy duty battery cables. I'm pretty sure they are around 50 inches on the positive and negative is around 32 when I measure. This also gives the cable some slack going to both spots. But searching parts places it's difficult bevause they don't show alot of measurements
  12. On my 85 buick Riviera has a similar pump. Mine had clog. I took the rubber hose and blew a bunch of air through it with my mouth and it regained it's suction. I got lucky but that's worth a try. Good luck
  13. I got mine from the parts place and just installed it. The fitment was great. I bought new square tabs but the old ones were square as well and held up upon removal. Very pleased with the material from parts place. Very good reproductions
  14. Installed a correct trunk release button and got rid of the old one and Works great. During this time I also installed new underhood insulation from the parts place. I must say I'm very pleased with the fit and material. Really great reproduction of the original.
  15. Just wanted to say a big thank you to Darren (LS5) for sending me the correct trunk button. Proud to be a FGMCC member and the genorosity and knowledge shared by all is amazing. It fits, works, and looks awesome. Since the car is in very original type condition it's great to finish it off with the correct button. Installation seemed very easy initially but these buttons are sure made to fit in there tight so there is no play. After minor turning and twisting she popped right In. I attached a couple pics of old release and new one.
