This is a 1971 Monte Carlo SS. It is for sale. If you go to Facebook check out my site Addicted To Rust it has more pics of it on there. If you get time check it out. The car is missing the big block. Someone replaced it with a small block.
  2. The 1971 Monte Carlo you see in my gallery is for sale. If you go to my site Addicted To Rust on Facebook there are more pics there.

  7. 71-CF-42-2788 Matic 230. E. This is what is on the tag. From what I can make of it. My eyes are 47 years of age. Lol
  8. From the album: 1971 Monte Carlo SS454

This is the tag I found on the Monte Carlo I just purchased. Everything on it is checking out as a true super sport so far.

    1971 Monte Carlo SS454

Does this look like a true SS?
  10. Great pictures. I just bought a 1971 Monte Carlo. Has all the tell tale signs of a Super Sport. I found the ride leveler compressor brackets in the trunk. I was wondering what they were for. The rest is M.I.A.

    Does this look correct?
  12. From the album: My 1970 Monte Carlo

I located these numbers on my frame. I guess this is part of the matching numbers process?
  13. Where is the best place to purchase some new steel pre bent fuel lines?
  14. I am getting ready to power wash and coat my frame. I am going try the POR-15 on it. I will post some pics when I get done. Any pointers on doing the frame are always welcome.
  15. From the album: My 1970 Monte Carlo

I was just going to replace the body mounts. Didn't like the way the frame looked so here we go. Hopefully it pays off in the end.
  16. From the album: My 1970 Monte Carlo

Finally removed the body to start this long battle ahead. All in good fun
