  3. Mike, You posted in my interior thread and I have sent you the last PM regarding a shipping cost for the bucket seats, but I haven't heard back from you yet. Please let me know. Thanks, Doug
  4. I went to Legendary interiors website, and for a GM A body 68-72, they only show Chevelle, Malibu, and SS as an option to pick from. http://www.legendaryautointeriors.com/catalog/products.html?make=CHEVROLET (A-BODY 68-72)&model=CHEVELLE/MALIBU/SS (68-72)&year=1972&nav_cat=UPHOLSTERY %26 TRIM ACCESSORIES&class=SEAT UPHOLSTERY-CHEVROLET Is that the correct website? I didn't think the Chevelle interior was the same as the Monte Carlo.
  5. Any update Mike? Also, is there a vendor that makes factory correct replacement cloth seat upholstery for the 1st Gen Monte's? All I see in OPGI is vinyl, but my 72 has cloth seats.
  6. Also, is there a somewhat economical way of finding a set of correct bucket seats for our Monte's? I have to redo my seats anyway, and I would like to have a set of buckets up front.
  7. My 72 Monte Carlo came with dark green cloth interior on the seats, but I've seen some Monte Carlo's with leather/vinyl seats. Which was more common, the cloth or leather seats?
  8. Last Saturday I got the crunched core support, passenger side door and fender off, and installed a straight core support, and test fit the donor fender and door.
  9. I got the complete vinyl top molding trim from the 70 Monte that I parted out, and I saved all the molding trim plastic clips too. But a guy pointed me towards the screws that replace the pins, which I think will be a much easier process to install a new vinyl top if I go that route.
  10. My 72 Monte came with a black vinyl top, and the guy I got it from a couple weeks ago, had removed it many years ago, and shaved the pins down. I'll be repainting my car soon and would like opinions of whether to install a new vinyl top or not? The roof itself will be coated to help protect it from any moisture issues in the future if a vinyl top is installed. Thanks!
  11. I looked at my 70 Hood, and the only good nozzle is the driver's side nozzle. The passenger side is broken right behind the mounting bracket where it bolts to the hood.
  12. I sent an email to him at the email address listed on his post, but it is no longer a valid email address. Does anyone local to David have any contact info for him - email or phone number? Or does anyone that bought an extra 72 Monte Carlo print be willing to sell it?
  13. That does look pretty good, but Jared is correct, it would look better with the wider vertical sides to it to mimic our factory grilles.
  14. I had photobucket for over 10 yrs and have since deleted my pictures off there and deleted my account from them blackmailers. I use imgur now and it's very intuitive and works great from my Android phone too.
  15. I just parted out a 70 Monte and I have the hood from it. It might still have the nozzles on it, so I will look at it after work.
  16. I'll look at my 70 Monte Carlo hood and see if the windshield washer nozzles are on it.
