  1. I'm looking for a set of full length headers for my all stock 1970 monte 350 car with A/c but does have a 200-4r trans. But I'm not looking for 1 3/4 tube headers I just want a set that's going to fit well and I wont have to modify to much to put them on. Can anyone recommend a good set?
  2. Has anyone on here swapped a ls motor into their car and have the carb set up on it and bolted to an old trans such as a 200-4r? please let me know if you have because I am considering this swap myself and would like some advice. THANKS!!

  6. Hi! I currently have a column shift car that I've swapped bench seat for the original style buckets. The next step is to find a console but being a big Camaro fan I'd like to do the 69' Camaro console with the horse shoe shifter and gauges! Does this console fit? Has anyone done this conversion? Is there any tips? Thanks for the help!

  8. What can you guys tell me about the lock up on a 200-4r? He Trans guy I spoke to said it's the lock up that's causing my car to put around in overdrive and that I can put the electronic lock up on a toggle switch to flip on when I'm at higher speeds. Is this true?
  9. I have a 200-4r in my car with a stock 350 and a 3:73 posi rearend. Now the problem I'm having with the Trans is when it goes into over drive it's almost like it's being held back just kind of putting along but experience with other overdrives such as the 700r4 it shouldn't feel like this. The worst is sometimes after it downs shifts from overdrive it puts through all the other gears as well almost like it's getting ready to stall out or something. Can somebody please tell me why this is happening and what to do to fix it! I forgot to mention it does have a 2000 stall. Please help!!!
  10. Idk I'm going to have to check to timing and the idle mixture, but I'll be putting Tstat back in it this weekend. Thank you guys.
  11. I don't have after market pulleys nor is there ever a loss in coolant so I'm not thinkin head gasket but I didn't replace the thermostat so I'll put one back in it and see of that changes anything.
  12. From my more recent post some of you know that I just put a 4 row champion radiator in my car. I've gone through everything on the cooling system but she still heats up at a stop w/out A/c. I live in Arizona so I know it might run hotter then most of yours but it's a small block Chevy 350 all original nothing done to the motor. I don't understand why she gets up to 230 at a stand still. I want to make it run cool cause I have plans to put the A/c back in it. Any advice? New severe fan clutch, recently took out the thermostat, new houses, new water pump and nothing in return.

I've noticed all you guys swear by the champion radiators so I have looked into purchasing one but I plan on going with the 4row radiator but the measurements don't quite match up perfectly to my current one. Has anybody used one and had any fitment issues or are the a perfect bolt in? Please let me know!
