  1. I was hoping someone could point me to a garage that specializes in suspension work. I am looking for some help with ball joints, and alignment. I am located in the N. West suburbs of chicago. Can anyone point me to a reliable shop? Thanks in advance, John

  3. I definately do not have the resistor on the heater box. So now the question is where does the three prong wiring plug connect to under the dash. The colors of the harness are light blue, yellow and orange. The plug on the end is white. Two of the prongs run vertical, and the top prong runs horizontally. Cannot find any other option but for the connection to the resitor on all of my wiring diagrams. Any help is appreciated. 4. Thanks for the posts...although my three wire harness under the dash is not connected, I still have multiple fan speeds. I have removed the glove box and all duct work and still cannot find the three prongs. On my 71 Chevelle, It was really obvious. Thanks again, I'll take another look. 5. According to my 72 chevell/monte carlo service manual, the heater resistor is located on the top of the heater box. A three wire harness plugs into the resitor connector. Is this correct? My heater resistor harness is not connected and I cannot find the correct location of the resistor. Can anyone explain the function of the resistor? Any help is appreciated.
  6. Thanks! I found the control valve above the rear axle and verified that my Monte is truly an SS based upon all of the tell tail signs. Thanks again for all of your assistance. I still cannot determine how the compressor was mounted to the fender well but I think the inner and outer fenders were replaced at some time. Thanks again! 7. I'm trying to confirm that my car is an original SS. I do have all the usual SS items - posi, shock protectors, boxed control arms, SS rear bumper, black stripe on the back of the deck lid, badging, etc. but need assistance regarding the load leveling system. I do not have any mounting holes on my inner fender for the missing air compressor. I do however have what looks to be a level switch mounted on my fire wall directly below the cowl tag. It has a blue disconnected wire hanging from it. Is this the switch which controlled the compressor? Any help is appreciated.
