  1. Ah,that what I thought and don't want either. That's why I went with the 50 series but it still has a little bit of a drone. I want to dynamat my interior and it should be a lot better with overdrive so I'm not concerned. Thanks!
  2. Sounds good. What made you change out the Magnaflows?
  3. Here they are: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/RRP-T300/ from Summit. Cheaper than the $50 from Jegs or others I've seen with the sleeve.
  4. Well they're pointing straight back. They're not collared like typical collectors so they're fixed and they only go three ways. This was the only way that worked without facing up toward the floor or forward for the ram-air effect. lol
  5. Got rid of the ole glasspacks for 3" exhaust with Pypes X-Change crossover with QTP electric cut-outs and Flowmaster 50 series big block mufflers. Remember my Monte has about 9.2:1 compression ratio. Mellow enough to not drive me insane when going on a 3 hour ride, but I can always open the cut-outs however much I want to really make some noise at traffic lights! The only downside is that I want to lower my Monte pretty bad but the X-pipe and cut-outs hang pretty low. Let me know what ya think
  6. Chevyss, Can you post pictures of the exit of your tailpipes and the fitment? I would like to get the Torque Tech tailpipes, but see how it looks on a Monte first. Thanks!
  7. Yes! I remember this Nomad concept from quite some time ago! Look at that B-pillar! Looks very familiar. I think the SSR was 'based' on this...maybe
  8. LOL nice! I was wondering why his pic of the Caddy Wagon had the Monte in it as well on the site!! Nice site and that's funny how I stumbled across it a while back.
  9. Wow! Kevin that is very cool. I did some research to find some of these Caddy wagons before. Check out this site: http://www.cadillacstationwagon.com/ And here is a gallery of just about all station wagons ever produced with at least one picture of each: http://www.stationwagon.com/gallery/gallery.html I LOVE wagons as well and actually got this idea from a drawing by Steve Stanford in Hot Rod Magazine several issues back. You can find that here: http://www.hotrod.com/featuredvehicles/hrdp_0806_new_ideas_for_common_cars/photo_11.html
  10. lol okay I'm not some 'pro' photoshopper! I would need a picture of a wagon on the same angle of that car. Wallaby's pic was great because it had a uniform blue background (sky) and the Chevelle wagon pic was just about on the same angle and very similar blue colors. I can lower or chop it if you like! lol sorry
  11. Thanks! Yes, someone else on another forum said the same thing about grafting the Olds or Buick roof on. That would be neat too! If I get some time, I'll give her a try. I'm glad you like the reflection too, I thought that was pretty neat as well! Thanks again Wallaby!
  12. I'll trade you my Photoshop drawings for the big block in your monte, Scott! { Thanks
  13. If you haven't seen these: My roommate did the two 2-Door Chevelle wagons briefly in Photoshop: No-Post Post Someone on the Chevy Talk Forum found this REAL built 2-door Chevelle wagon: You can see more on this link: http://rides.carcraft.com/ride/1002066/ex4door/1970/chevrolet/chevelle/index.html I just finished up with the creations. What do you think? I love the pics of the Monte that Wallaby (Mark Andrus) sent me because in the reflection you can see his car of what the picture originally was. I used the roof and rear window from pictures of a '70 Wagon that a gentleman named Steve sent me from a Chevelle Forum. The Wagon Monte: The Lowered Wagon Monte: I thought maybe the car would look better using the B-pillar and quarter-style glass/trim to match the contour of the back glass. The Wagon Monte with Chevelle Wagon B-Pillar: And lastly, the Lowered Wagon Monte with Chevelle B-Pillar: Thanks to those who sent me pictures including those I used - Steve and Mark! Now I need the money to build it! lol
  14. They're great Wallaby! Thanks again. I can't wait to get some time freed up to mess around with it. May not be until after Thanksgiving though. I have two exams to study for before then :-/ Thanks again! I'll keep all you posted
